It makes a lot of sense for Bungie’s Destiny to have a companion app. I mean, other games have been doing it to mixed results. You probably don’t need the Call of Duty companion app because of the nature of the game, but with Battlefield, the Battlelog app is incredibly useful and can do a lot. It looks like Bungie is going to go all out for the Destiny companion app that should be available with the Destiny beta that launches this week on PlayStation consoles and next week on Xbox.
The Destiny app will help you to sort out your objectives, your loadouts, character and stats on the go, which if you get really into the game can be super useful. Check out the video below.
