First WWE2K15 Screenshot Posted — Looking Next Gen

WWE2K15 is slated for an October 28th release date, being the first WWE game to be released on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 generation of game consoles. There are some big expectations behind what Visual Concepts teaming up with Yukes can do with the WWE license on next generation consoles (it will also come out on Xbox 360 and PS3 as well, so don’t worry), but we’ve seen very little proof of it being cool thus far. Well, finally we can say that WWE2K15 looks really, really good on next generation consoles thanks to a screenshot released by 2K today.

This is, of course, John Cena in all of his muscle-ripply self with Randy Orton in the foreground. This is a huge improvement over the last few iterations of the WWE engine used by Yukes that was starting to look, well, pretty rough around the edges. How this looks in motion is still up-in-the-air, but they’ve at least upped the polygon count and started using better textures for WWE2K15.

This looks promising.
