Destiny Beta to Feature More Content Than Alpha

This Thursday for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners the Destiny beta officially launches, meaning that it’s time for us PlayStation owners to get excited about heading back into the world of Destiny. From what I played of the Destiny alpha, I loved it and can’t wait to get my hands on the beta this Thursday. But what exactly should we expect when we play it?

The Destiny Alpha featured only a very small amount of content, with only two story chapters and two multiplayer maps. I still maxed out my character because it just felt like the thing to do, though. So what about the Beta? According to a leak being reported we can expect a full four story chapters, four multiplayer maps and one co-operative strike mission. That is a substantial amount of stuff compared to the alpha, although it isn’t clear if those same maps and chapters from the alpha will be included in this (we’d have to think so).

So July 17th on PlayStation, July 23rd on Xbox — Destiny! Oh yeah, expect it to weigh in at around 12.63gb. [source]
