Uriah Hall Was Bullied as a Kid in New York

Growing up can be tough, as most of us can attest to, yet we’ve all gotten to this point in our lives through one way or another. The same goes for UFC fighter Uriah Hall who apparently had a bit of a tough time growing up in New York.

“The bullying just got to a point where it’s like, I gotta wake up tomorrow and look forward to this again?” Hall said Monday during a UFC media lunch that celebrated Black History Month. “I don’t want to deal with this s**t.”

“I just didn’€™t want to do it anymore, man,” Hall said.

Uriah Hall spoke about being bullied in the past and this is a solid step for the UFC to talk about stuff like this. Kids tend to have it tough, especially in their teens and with technology making nothing a secret anymore. Fighters like Uriah Hall speaking out about their pasts can only help to make UFC fighters to look more human and relatable, something that seems to be missing a lot of the time. [source]
