In a rather odd turn of events — and further proof of just how weird the CSAC is — they have decided that they don’t have any actual rules on the books for handling testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and have decided to not allow for any fighters to use TRT until they have figured out exactly how to handle it.
They seem divided, some feeling as though they need to push through legislation allowing it, while others believing that it is illegal. California is a huge market for MMA and the UFC and it will be interesting to see how this effects the promotion and which fighters they choose to book in California.
