Let’s face it, Twitter beefs has become a viable way to force the UFC’s hand at matchmaking. It gets people on the internet (like here? whoa) talking about potential fights and will get the UFC to sign said fight as long as it even kind of makes sense. The latest? Tim Kennedy wants to fight Gegard Mousasi, so he went after him on Twitter. The only thing is, man, this is a really weak battle and we are going to have to squint really hard to pretend like insults are being lobbed around.
So it appears @mousasi_mma is ranked #7 at middleweight now… right behind me…. Curious…

I would like to point out that @mousasi_mma has an inconsistent chest hair pattern.

I dunno about all of that, what I do know is that Gegard Mousasi and Tim Kennedy are great fighters and a fight between the two would definitely be worth watching. So let’s hope that Tim Kennedy and Gegard Mousasi step up their Twitter insult game a little bit and that they get booked to fight each other soon.
