Ratings for Bellator’s Fight Master Continues to Rise

Bellator’s reality series, Fight Master, debuted with some rather abysmal ratings. Spike TV was quick to issue a statement blaming hockey playoffs and other reasons, but since that initial week the ratings have continued to rise and rise, with the third episode of Fight Master once again improving, while still being below expectations. That is kind of a day in the life of Bellator thing, though, isn’t it?

According to Dave Meltzer, Fight Master: Bellator MMA drew 676,000 viewers on the third time out, a 24% increase over the last week and a 56% increase over the first week. They will now be moving from a coach’s pick format into a more TUF-like format, but it seems like the format has nothing to do with ratings, it probably just needed to get some decent word of mouth.
