Turtle Rock’s much-anticipated multiplayer shooter, Evolve, was originally slated for an October 21st release date, but it looks like that was simply too good to be true. Today it has been announced that Evolve will instead be launching in 2015, with the new release date being February 10th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This is a bit of a blow for fans who were eagerly anticipating the monster-hunting shooter, but if it means a better game, so be it, right?
It is always favorable to have a game launch that is complete and with less bugs and need for a day one patch than to get bombarded with patches and bugs. We’ve seen games like Battlefield 4 be tainted beyond repair, so it’s good that Evolve is delayed.
