It’s kind of crazy to think that UFC 178, featuring Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson, has been announced for a while but hasn’t had a venue. We knew that UFC 178 was going to take place in Las Vegas, but there wasn’t an actual venue selected just yet. Crazy, right? I think it was kind of crazy. UFC 178 happens on September 27th and hell, we even found out today that Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier will be on the show.
Well, UFC just announced that UFC 178 will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, giving it a home, finally. Tickets go on sale on August 1st and this all seems a little sudden, if not rushed, but that’s okay. We are just happy that this is all squared away now.
