UFC 177: Dillashaw vs. Soto Results

Here’s the thing, UFC 177 had some fun fights with quality finishes, but what Dana White fails to recognize is that aside from the main event, the card failed to provide fights with any true significance in their respective divisions.

On a positive note, we did see four of five fights finished, which can’t be complained about.

In the main event of the evening UFC Bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw successfully defended his title for the first time, defeating Joe Soto via knockout in round five. However, Dillashaw’s Team Alpha Male teammate Danny Castillo fell short in the co-main event, losing to Tony Ferguson via split decision.
