Nick Diaz Blows Off Taping of The Voice Versus on AXS TV

Oh Michael Schiavello. Schiavello is probably best known as one of the voices of K-1 and later DREAM and Sengoku, which all aired on HDNet (now AXS TV) here in the United States. If you remember staying up late to watch marvelously HD fights from Japan in a post-PRIDE world you know Michael very well, as well as “Goodnight Irene!”

Schiavello has a pretty cool magazine-style interview show called “The Voice Versus” where he has had sit down interviews with some of the biggest names in the world of combat sports, from Badr Hari and Alistair Overeem to Dana White and even pro wrestlers like Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin. The next episode of The Voice Versus was supposed to be Nick Diaz, but according to Schiavello, Nick Diaz no-showed up to the taping of the episode today.

This wouldn’t be the first time that Nick Diaz has missed a press event and probably won’t be the last, but one would have to think that eventually the phone will stop ringing for Nick if he keeps it up.
