If there was any fighter out there that I’d probably be pretty stoked to hang out with, I gotta say that Mike Tyson would be pretty high up on that list. Mike Tyson wasn’t just one of the more successful Heavyweight Boxers of his time, but of all-time. People will tell you all sorts of stories about how he got to the top and his lack of skill that he made up for in brute strength, but the reality is that the guy was skilled as well as powerful, he just didn’t know how to handle the spotlight. It is safe to say that Mike Tyson did just about everything wrong in his career, stuff like pushing old women down stairs, sexual assault and yes, even biting Evander Holyfield’s ear during a fight.
That being said, he is one guy who understands what making mistakes is like and there has to be a ton of knowledge crammed into his head to last a few lifetimes.
So put him in the same room as Ronda Rousey, the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, who has recently skyrocketed in fame, and expect him to be laying down some pretty alright knowledge. They appeared together on Good Morning LA and it is as awkward and engaging as you’d expect it to be. I urge you to check it out on here.
