Jason High’s UFC career has been a non-starter for what looks like the second time. His first UFC run lasted just one fight before he was cut, him earning his way back in by fighting in Strikeforce, which was absorbed into the Zuffa umbrella and later into the UFC. His second time around he was starting to pick up some steam, but this past weekend in Albuquerque Jason High did a no-no when he put his hands on the ref after his fight with Rafael Dos Anjos.
The thing is, Dos Anjos was really kind of nailing him in the back of the head, which is illegal and the ref did miss it. I understand Jason High’s frustration, but Dana White seemingly doesn’t care and unceremoniously cut him. Goodbye, Jason High, hope to see you back soon.
