Last week we had sleazy manager-inspired drama revolving around Invicta FC, the all-women’s MMA league run by Shannon Knapp, but this week it is good news as tickets are on sale for the upcoming Invicta FC 6: Cyborg vs. Coenen II. Invicta FC 6 is set to go down on July 13th in Kansas City at the Ameristar Casino Hotel.
The feature bout of the evening is a rematch of Netherland’s Marloes Coenen and Brazil’s Cris “Cyborg” Santos, who fought previously in Strikeforce. This rematch will crown the first Invicta FC World Featherweight Champion, making it all that more important. The co-main event of the evening sees Carla Esparza defending her Invicta FC Strawweight Championship against Japan’s Ayaka Hamasaki.
