Damn, it’s hard to be down on this card as it has been absolutely incredible. Just great fight after great fight, which is not something you can usually say for UFC cards. Everyone has just been looking to make a huge impression and Gilbert Melendez and Diego Sanchez just put on a pretty crazy war in the octagon, with Melendez controlling the first two rounds before Diego really turned up the heat in round three with a few great shots that put him in control.
In the end, the right guy walked away victorious in Melendez, but damn. There was even a nasty cut that got opened up on Diego that almost stopped the fight, but luckily it was in Texas and they were pretty apathetic about stopping it.
