Dana White recounting a rather bizarre story from The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale highlights both how odd Nick Diaz is as well as how little Dana White and UFC officials understand Nick Diaz. According to MMAJunkie, someone texted Dana during the event for tickets to the fight, so he had a few tickets waiting for Diaz which were right behind him. When Nick showed up instead of going to his seats he went to some empty seats in the upper level of the arena, not making contact with anyone from the UFC.
This being said, there has been a bit of a dance in place where Diaz is both ready to fight again or not and Dana White seems at least open to having Diaz fight again, but makes it clear that it is up to Nick Diaz to make that decision and ask for another fight.
