Dana White Confirms There Are No Plans for Cris Cyborg in the UFC

The fans really want to see Ronda Rousey tested by former Strikeforce Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg Justino, the thing is, Dana White just doesn’t seem that interested in making that fight happen. Cris Cyborg competed at Lion Fight 14 against Jorina Baars where Cyborg dropped a decision to the Dutch fighter after taking quite a beating. To many, this would impact the potential bargaining power that Cris Cyborg had with the UFC, but Dana White confirmed that Cyborg has no bargaining power anyway, unless she’s fighting at 135lbs.

He also feels like she’s being mismanaged, so there is that. [source]

“The crazy thing about talking about this is there is no negotiations or anything like that,” White told MMAjunkie when asked how the loss changes his perspective on Justino. “She’s a 145-pounder.”

“She’s being mismanaged,” White said. “She’s been mismanaged since the day that this whole thing went down, and she will continue to be mismanaged right until her career is over.”
