Ben Askren has received his wish, and now has his unconditional release from Bellator. Yes, Bellator doesn’t even want their undefeated champion, and Askren has been trying to get into the UFC without avail. It’s gotten so desperate, that Askren has now said he would fight Rory MacDonald for free.
Honestly, why not just do it? Or at least pay him like a grand?
Askren reached out to MMAFighting to relay his generous wish:
“Rory MacDonald is a guy who really irks me,” Askren said. “He bugs me. It was really nice to see him get knocked of his pedestal Saturday night.”
“But if Dana White was willing, if I lost to him I would fight for free retire from the sport of MMA, because that’s how confident I am.”
I think he would beat Rory too. Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it!
