Bellator 132 was headlined by a Bellator featherweight title bout between champion, Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, and former champion Daniel Straus. In a fight mostly dominated on the feet by challenger Daniel Straus, in addition to a plethora of eye pokes, groin shots and incidental headbutts, champion Patricio “Pitbull” Freire was able to find a rear-naked choke at the very end of round four.
The co-main event also featured a matchup of top Bellator featherweights in former WSOF featherweight champion Georgi Karakhanyan and Bubba Jenkins. This one didn’t last long, as Jenkins pursued a takedown which led to a vicious guillotine choke by Karakhanyan, which ultimately put Jenkins to sleep and ended the bout in just under two minutes.
With the victory, Karakhanyan earned himself the next shot at the Bellator featherweight title.
