Bellator 123 took place on Friday, September 5th in Uncasville, CT at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The Bellator event had to compete with UFC Fight Night 50, which took place mere miles away.
We saw stoppage victories for some of the biggest stars on the card including “King” Muhammed Lawal, Bobby Lashley and Cheick Kongo. In the main event of the evening a new Bellator Featherweight champion was crowned as Patricio “Pitbull” Freire defeated Pat Curran via unanimous decision.
