Anderson Silva’s heart-wrenching (or uplifting if you hated him) loss to Chris Weidman made for a rather surreal MMA moment, one that most of us will remember for a long time. In a way, I feel like MMA needed one of those moments and I’m glad that it did happen. Things were beginning to feel a little stale and sometimes they need to be shaken up a bit. Well, the UFC has been shaken up, that is for sure.
Anderson Silva has apparently accepted the rematch with Chris Weidman and it will go down at UFC 168. ESPN released a video from Anderson with a statement to that effect, which he says in his weird, broken English that we all know and love.
This event should be huge, featuring Anderson vs. Weidman II and Rousey vs. Tate II. It will go down on December 28th.
